Customer Service Representative

Position Summary: The Cashier is tasked with managing payment transactions, issuing receipts, gift-wrapping items, and maintaining accurate records of cash and credit transactions. Success in this role requires prior experience in customer service and a solid understanding of cash register operations, with availability for evening and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer transactions efficiently using cash registers.
- Ensure accurate pricing through scanning of goods.
- Collect payments in cash or credit.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change as necessary.
- Redeem stamps and coupons.
- Promote products and introduce new offerings.
- Address customer complaints and provide relevant information.
- Welcome customers upon entry and exit from the store.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Monitor transactions on balance sheets and report discrepancies.
- Prepare smoothies and juices for the juice bar.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar sales role
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and POS systems
- Strong mathematical abilities
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented mindset
