Job Overview

The Sheraton North Houston at IAH is seeking a dedicated Shuttle Driver to provide exceptional transportation services for our guests. The Shuttle Driver is responsible for operating the hotel van to various guest destinations with safety and professionalism. A valid CDL Endorsement P is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promptly respond to guest requests for shuttle services, ensuring a courteous experience; assist guests with their luggage during boarding and disembarking.
  • Drive the vehicle in compliance with state regulations and adhere to all airport guidelines related to shuttle operations.
  • Inform and promote hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to guests.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections, addressing any safety issues or maintenance needs; maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
  • Keep an accurate log of vehicle mileage.
  • Regularly check and maintain the cleanliness of the hotel entrance and surrounding areas.
  • Support housekeeping and laundry operations, including assisting with laundry tasks and maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Foster teamwork and quality service through effective communication with other staff and management.
  • Ensure that guest special requests are met and that services are delivered effectively.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory; CDL Endorsement P is required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Frequent handling of various objects and equipment is expected.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
