Service Manager Job Description

Aire Serv is seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to lead our residential HVAC service team. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our team of technicians, ensuring they operate within company guidelines and conform to state and local codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of service technicians to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct performance management conversations to help grow employee careers and ensure disciplinary measures are taken when necessary.
  • Monitor and analyze service reporting metrics to lead and manage business results.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service technician performance meets customer requirements.
  • Identify and communicate prefabrication opportunities to generate sales proposals.
  • Provide technical assistance, invoice dispute resolution, and accounts receivable feedback.
  • Manage revenue goals and monitor technician labor hours for efficiency and safety.
  • Review technician reports and provide feedback to improve productivity and recognize outstanding performance.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings and perform safety observations to ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
  • At least 15 years of experience in the HVAC field with at least 3 years of managing residential HVAC service.
  • Excellent knowledge of HVAC installation and theory, as well as advanced knowledge of MEP systems, service processes, techniques, and code requirements.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills, with excellent presentation and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in reading complex schematics and/or blueprints.
Compensation:

$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
