Job Title: Associate Manager Engineering Services

Job Summary:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Associate Manager Engineering Services to lead and manage a diverse team focused on Logistics and Integrated Product Support. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and management skills, with a strong background in engineering services, logistics, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering services and technical documentation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize depot-level support and repair processes, managing assets and property, and developing comprehensive technical manuals and training programs.
  • Interface with multidiscipline teams to provide Integrated Product Support, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and government personnel, providing timely updates and addressing inquiries related to the team's activities.
  • Manage cost accounts, schedules, and milestones related to logistical support, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Create work orders and provide oversight for depot repairs and maintenance activities, upholding high standards of workmanship in line with industry best practices.
  • Review, approve, and manage all shipments of parts, consumables, and items from the depot facility, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and allocation of materials and components.
  • Manage government property, perform inventories, oversee audits, and prepare property reports on a routine basis.
  • Author FAA technical manuals and training for operational, instructional, and service procedures in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Develop and present briefings at weekly technical meetings and monthly program management reviews.
  • Participate and lead professional discussions in technical interchange meetings.
  • Maintain document and version control of formal/informal training deliverables.
  • Provide backup support for other Integrated Product Support managers.
  • Support bid and proposal efforts for new pursuits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years leading an Integrated Product Support team.
  • Minimum of two (2) years managing Depot Operations maintaining fielded hardware.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting a government program in the Operations and Maintenance phase.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Quality Management Systems, Engineering processes, and life cycle management.
  • Experience utilizing EVMS and reporting IMS milestone status.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • Must be team-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Ability to obtain and continue to hold an FAA Public Trust clearance.
