Job Title: General Manager, Service Division

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager for our Service Division. Our Service Division provides electrical, solar, and generator solutions across Brevard county.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of managing electricians in the field, experience managing the P&L for an organization, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Review existing performance of the Service Division across utilization, profitability, leads, and sales; develop and implement a strategic plan to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong Communication and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple departments and ensure customer expectations are met. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, customers, and suppliers.
  • Coordination and Communication: ensure effective communication among the team in the field and department managers including subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure the broader vision, mission, and goals of Eau Gallie Electric flow out across the entire division.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, implement process improvement projects to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement measures that increase profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
  • Customer Relations: Act as a final escalation point for any customer issues that require immediate and decisive resolution.
Requirements
  • 10 years of leadership experience managing service departments
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: Competitive Annual Salary with a bonus: Pay for performance bonuses paid quarterly (based on the profitability of your division)

Vacation and Holiday: 7 days Paid Time Off (PTO) (includes both vacation and sick time); employees receive 12 days of PTO after 5 years of service, PLUS 6 major holidays paid, PLUS Eau Gallie Electric Bonus Week (1 additional week of Paid Time Off (PTO) during the week between Christmas and New Years to spend with your family and friends).

Insurance and Retirement: 100% company paid health insurance, 100% match company retirement plan, up to 6% of total yearly pay, $75,000 in life insurance (paid for by the company), Short term and Long-term disability insurance (paid for by the company), Access to company therapist and/or minister as needed (paid for by the company).

Continuing Education: Company paid journeyman and master electrician education courses (paid for by the company).
