As a Kindergarten Teacher at Arkansas Lighthouse Charter School Elementary Campus, you will facilitate outstanding learning experiences tailored to your content area. We seek educators who demonstrate commitment, integrity, and purpose in their work.

Key Requirements:
  • Valid Arkansas Teaching Certificate/License (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience or training in Restorative Practices, Professional Learning Communities, and Response to Intervention (RTI) preferred

  • Management of all teaching elements, including instruction, assessment, and classroom environment

  • Proficiency in incorporating technology into teaching and assessment
  • Reflective practice with a commitment to continuous professional growth
Core Responsibilities:

Instructional Planning:
  • Utilizing student achievement data to tailor instruction for diverse learning needs
  • Engaging students through varied activities and technology that cater to different learning styles
Instruction Delivery:
  • Presenting academic content using diverse instructional strategies to reach all learners
  • Providing multiple opportunities for students to achieve mastery
Assessment:
  • Measuring student progress toward learning objectives using formative and summative assessments
  • Offering timely feedback to students on their progress
  • Using data to reflect on lesson effectiveness and student achievement
Learning Environment:
  • Creating a respectful and fair environment that encourages risk-taking and goal achievement
  • Communicating and enforcing high expectations for behavior and academic performance
Family and Community Engagement:
  • Communicating thoughtfully with families and involving them in academic activities
Professional Development:
