Sprinkler System Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler System Installer to join our team at Innovative Services, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Inspection: Install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA codes and standards, and inspect systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems, including identifying and resolving issues with system components and installation practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure proper installation and maintenance of sprinkler systems, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory of materials and tools needed for job completion, and ensure that all necessary equipment is available and in good working condition.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document work performed and submit necessary reports, including maintenance records and system inspections.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Licensure: State of Connecticut Fire Protection Unlimited Journeyperson F-2 License.
- Driver's License: Valid State Driver License with a clean driving record.
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime and to respond to after-hours emergency calls.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and mentor apprentices.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with others.
- Physical Abilities: Physical ability to handle heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and at heights.
- Knowledge of Sprinkler Systems: Knowledge of sprinkler system components and installation practices.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of state and local codes and regulations.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use tools and equipment required by this position.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
