Field Operations Technician

Key Responsibilities

As a crucial member of our team, the Field Operations Technician will be responsible for a variety of hands-on tasks involving equipment and machinery. Working under the guidance of a Field Engineer or Field Specialist, you will:
  • Prepare for job assignments independently.
  • Set up and dismantle cranes and bucket trucks.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on pumping units.
  • Operate company vehicles as necessary.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to the Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all relevant quality standards and procedures.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Complete work assignments with the utmost quality.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by your supervisor, within the job's physical requirements.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including long shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in pumping unit repairs.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Minimum of 2 years in the oilfield sector.
