Account Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Maine Insurance Agents Association. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for soliciting new business and retaining established accounts, working closely with our Account Managers to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for business opportunities through local networks and community connections.
  • Develop and cross-sell insurance products to existing and new clients.
  • Generate and pursue new client opportunities, following up with clients after initial meetings and conversations.
  • Retain clients by maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Work with Account Managers to prepare proposals and present to clients.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Active Maine Property & Casualty license.
  • Three years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
