POSITION OVERVIEW: This role is pivotal in delivering top-notch customer service and managing scheduling tasks in accordance with our therapy scheduling guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a friendly atmosphere upon their arrival for therapy appointments.
- Perform essential clerical duties, including answering phone calls, screening inquiries, taking messages, retrieving patient information, and maintaining a tidy, professional workspace.
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes for patients.
- Collect copayments in alignment with insurance policies and accurately document received payments.
- Balance daily financial transactions and complete cash handling at the end of each shift.
- Comply with organizational policies regarding patient confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and the code of conduct.
- Be flexible to assist at other locations and extend working hours as necessary to cover for absences.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Demonstrated customer service expertise and strong communication abilities.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations, particularly within a Windows environment.
