Location: Residential Treatment Program

Monte Nido is a specialized residential treatment program designed for adolescents facing challenges such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

We focus on guiding adolescents and their families towards a comprehensive recovery journey, equipping each individual with the necessary tools to overcome the obstacles posed by eating disorders. Our approach combines empathy, education, and family involvement, ensuring that families are integral partners in the recovery process. We aim to help each adolescent cultivate healthy skills and develop a profound understanding of their unique identity.

We are currently seeking a Registered Dietitian to become an essential part of the Monte Nido team. The Registered Dietitian plays a vital role within both the leadership and clinical teams, working collaboratively across disciplines to ensure the highest standard of client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee meal preparation for clients, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Ensure all nutritional services comply with established standards and regulations.
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and monitor clients' nutritional intake.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized Master Treatment Plans.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in healthcare, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
  • Must possess the appropriate Registered Dietitian credential.
  • CPR/BLS certification required prior to starting work.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • A strong commitment to excellence in client care.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
