Key Responsibilities

  • Member Engagement
    • Deliver outstanding customer service to members, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Upsell and cross-sell BJ's membership programs, including the BJ's Perks program, to increase sales and drive revenue growth.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of BJ's products and services, including promotions and discounts.
    • Assist members with product inquiries, returns, and exchanges.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other sales associates and team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Participate in sales training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Store Operations
    • Ensure a safe and positive shopping environment for members and colleagues.
    • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, adhering to BJ's standards.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
    • Basic math skills and computer proficiency preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Most of the time is spent frequently remaining in a stationary position on hard surfaces.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds may be required.
