Job Title: Land Agent, Land Solutions

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Agent to join our Land Solutions team at Atwell, LLC. As a Land Agent, you will play a critical role in securing land for our projects, working closely with landowners, and negotiating agreements. If you have a strong understanding of the industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for land acquisition, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel extensively to project sites across the US, maintaining strong relationships with landowners and negotiating agreements.
  • Develop and implement right-of-way strategies with minimal supervision, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to the Land Solutions Manager, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and client goals.
  • Utilize Atwell's tools and technology to manage projects, ensuring clear and proactive communication with the team.
  • Perform research, qualify parcel ownership, and overcome landowner objections effectively, ensuring all agreements are executed flawlessly.

Qualifications:

  • Active LLC required for independent contractor status.
  • Active real estate license in the state of South Carolina.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in land acquisition for renewable energy projects or related fields.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in overcoming objections and navigating complex situations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work schedules and remote locations.
