**Job Summary**

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, selecting, and hiring top talent in the market.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Sources candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Screens candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings.
  • Performs reference checks as needed.
  • Stays abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Ensures all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Conducts preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality, and salary requirements.
  • Provides feedback to management about details regarding applications.
  • Uses standardized screening techniques to assess the skills, qualifications, and experience of potential candidates.
  • Develops talent pipelines and sources potential candidates.
  • Communicates effectively about the company and answers questions from potential hires.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2 years of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Recruiting and interviewing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Phone and online meeting platform skills.
  • Supports workplace diversity.
  • Familiarity with relevant employment law.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with various stakeholders.
