Production Training Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Production Trainer to join our team. As a Production Trainer, you will be responsible for providing quality, safe, and efficient job-specific training to our production staff. You will ensure that all training is integrated and up-to-date with the latest HSE requirements and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide training on production operations, including technical training on the shop floor.
- Develop and deliver training courses in classroom and operation areas, following up on post-training day activities.
- Ensure safe working conditions for training course participants by following ABB safety instructions and regulations.
- Develop course material for classroom and shop floor training, and advise on updates needed in e-learning material.
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with process managers to develop and implement training programs.
- Participate in the creation of didactic materials, presentations, and learning tools to support operational training.
- Preserve controlled documents used in job-specific technical training.
- Upload, file, and distribute records generated in stages of the job-specific technical training.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanics.
- Reading of electrical and mechanical plans.
- Interpretation of electrical diagrams.
- Interpretation of BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Compliance with internal work instructions.
- Use of manual, pneumatic, and electric tools.
- Basics of Microsoft Office.
- Basics of software used in operations such as SAP, Windchill.
- Knowledge and application of basic safety concepts.
- Torquing and screwing of components.
- Reading and filling out production reports.
- Interpersonal relations and influence.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Strategic thinking.
- Control and leadership of groups.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Identification of acceptance and rejection criteria for mechanical and wiring assembly.
- Technical career and 3 years of experience in the industry.
