Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of machinery and vehicles. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the functionality and reliability of engines, machines, and mechanical systems. An exceptional mechanic should possess manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail, capable of working with various tools and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble and construct machines or mechanical components based on specifications.
2. Conduct inspections on machines, engines, and transmissions, performing diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues.
3. Execute repairs aimed at maximizing reliability.
4. Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them efficiently.
5. Carry out comprehensive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
6. Clean and lubricate machinery components as needed.
7. Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
8. Provide guidance on proper maintenance and preventative measures to users of machines or vehicles.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned, including hydraulic system repairs and vehicle painting.
10. Maintain logs of work performed or utilize maintenance systems to report issues.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of mechanical experience or a recent graduate from a trade school.
- Possession of a toolbox and basic hand tools.
- Ability to perform standard chassis preventive maintenance services (fluid and filter changes, lubrication).
- Capability to conduct basic inspections and complete minor repairs.
- Willingness to assist senior mechanics and perform repairs under supervision.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
- Compliance with safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime.
- Physical capability to perform active work, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequently engaging in carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, and standing.
