Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Construction Assistant, you will assist our experienced sheet metal workers and pipefitters on various commercial and industrial projects. You will gain hands-on experience, learn the trade from skilled professionals, and be an integral part of our team as we deliver high-quality mechanical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, sheet metal ductwork, or piping systems.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as sheet metal or pipe, as directed.
  • Support in the preparation and cleanup of job sites.
  • Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to learn industry best practices and techniques.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Previous experience in construction, HVAC, sheet metal, or pipefitting is a plus but not required.
