Job Title: Clinical Office Assistant Lead

This is a full-time opportunity to work as a clinical office assistant lead in a clinical environment. The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year.

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to oversee various administrative tasks related to business and office maintenance activities. This includes patient appointments, registration, billing functions, cash collection, and phone communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Registration and Scheduling: Access computerized appointment information, initialize required paperwork, generate exam requests, and relay information to patients and family members according to HIPAA regulations.
  • Appointment Management and Film Purging: Schedule appointments, consult with physicians' offices as needed, and manage film purging and transfer.
  • Phone Handling and Customer Service: Answer phones, provide assistance, and direct calls in a courteous and efficient manner, prioritizing work and providing adequate and prompt information to all customers.
  • Inventory Management and Record-Keeping: Monitor inventories, order supplies accordingly, maintain employee medical records, and pull and file medical records.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication and Multi-Tasking Skills: Strong communication skills, multi-task oriented, sensitive to others, and able to prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to Handle Stressful Situations: Self-motivated and able to handle stressful situations while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
