Job Overview

Position Summary: The role involves assessing, cataloging, repairing, and preparing tradeshow exhibits to guarantee a seamless installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interprets and analyzes blueprints related to both new and existing tradeshow exhibit materials.
  • Collaborates closely with the account manager and exhibit preparation supervisor to ensure safe preparation of exhibit materials.
  • Utilizes knowledge of repair methods, including laminating, Bondo application, and basic epoxies and paints.
  • Safely operates a variety of basic hand tools.
  • Keeps accurate records regarding current and previous projects.
  • Completes additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with a preferred two (2) years of relevant experience and/or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with Windows 7 or higher and Microsoft Office 2010, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of applying common sense to follow detailed written or verbal instructions and resolve issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized scenarios.
  • Forklift Operation: Certification for forklift operation is required.
  • Travel: Limited travel for training may be necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand while performing job duties.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • A forklift will be utilized for moving items exceeding 75 pounds.
