We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team at IWS, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Manufacturing: Perform light assembly and/or basic machining operations according to work assignment description and scheduling.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to validate quality and accuracy, and identify and communicate basic process improvements.
- Material Handling: Transport products as required to the correct location when completed, and monitor and replenish raw materials as required for the post of operation.
- Documentation and Data Entry: Complete all documentation and electronic data updates as required.
- Team Collaboration: Assist with other duties within the department and/or other workstations/departments when necessary, and work well in a team environment.
- Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED, and a basic mechanical, math, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, operate basic machinery, and use basic hand tools.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and understand basic lean principles – 5S, Kanban.
- Competitive Pay: Starting at $18 per hour.
- Benefits: Eligibility for some benefits programs beginning Day 1, including 5 Days of PTO, 6 Paid Holidays, and up to 50% of health insurance premiums paid by IWS, LLC.
