We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler Associate to join our team at Impact Workforce Solutions in Vandalia, OH. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling TV mounts and other electrical products with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Perform light assembly and/or basic machining operations according to work assignment description and scheduling.
- Follow production and quality procedures by checking materials for defects and maintaining production standards.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings to perform basic assembly and machining operations.
- Inspect work to validate quality and accuracy, and transport products to the correct location when completed.
- Monitor and replenish raw materials as required, and complete all documentation and electronic data updates as necessary.
- Assist with other duties within the department and/or other workstations/departments as needed.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Possess a basic mechanical, math, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to operate basic machining posts, saws, paint sprayers, and hoists.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and associated procedures.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing priorities/tasks.
- Full-time, year-around employment with paid training.
