Business Development Representative

Vastian, a leading SaaS software company, is seeking an ambitious Business Development Representative to join our growing team. As a key member of our sales department, you will focus on expanding smaller contract value customers, lead the renewal process, and proactively execute net upsells in the laboratory industry.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand smaller contract value customers through timely renewals and upselling.
- Leverage deep product knowledge to educate potential customers and answer questions.
- Evaluate leads and determine qualified opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless execution of renewal contracts.
Requirements:
- Prior medical laboratory or related experience preferred (such as MLT, phlebotomy, or lab assistant).
- Passionate about customer satisfaction and desire to exceed expectations.
- Able to write succinct emails and possess excellent phone manner.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work with CRM software and continually learn new features.
