Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform computed tomographic examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of imaging procedures and be able to apply prudent judgment and technical skills to produce high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging studies by selecting specific software parameters to produce quality images for radiologists.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media for patient examinations according to radiologists' direction.
  • Operate PACS applications, including archiving activities, image auto-routing, and pre-fetching tasks.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and personal dignity by following patient care guidelines.
  • Verify physician orders and relevant patient history in the medical chart.
  • Consult with radiologists to obtain written imaging study protocols.
  • Scan relevant clinical information into the PACS and assign prioritization boxes for radiologists' work lists.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Less than 1 year of professional work experience in performing radiographic procedures, including 6 months experience in undertaking CT imaging studies.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association certification.
  • RTR-RT Radiography - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
