Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform computed tomographic examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for applying ionizing radiation and selecting specific software parameters to produce high-quality images for radiologists to determine diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer contrast media for patient examinations according to radiologists' direction, ensuring proper use of IV catheters and injector testing.
  • Operate PACS applications for archiving, image auto-routing, and pre-fetching tasks, as well as image quality assurance and other related activities.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and personal dignity by following patient care guidelines and using Radiology Information System (RIS) to input patient examination data and place orders.
  • Verify physician orders and relevant patient history, consulting with radiologists to obtain written imaging study protocols.
  • Scan relevant clinical information into PACS, assign prioritization boxes, and transmit images to the PACS within one hour of examination completion.
  • Assist in maintaining department inventory by ordering, stocking, and performing inventory checks on medical supplies.
  • Maintain imaging and processing equipment by performing scheduled cleanings and tests, documenting results, and contacting service personnel for malfunctions.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • 1 year of professional work experience in performing radiographic procedures, including 6 months experience in undertaking CT imaging studies.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association certification.
  • RTR-RT Radiography - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
