Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, adhering to individualized care plans and physician orders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, progress notes, and other relevant information.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies to promote independence and well-being.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in pediatrics or a related field (depending on state-specific requirements).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • 6 months of recent experience as a licensed nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
