Job Summary

Your primary focus will be on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and support various hotel departments, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Revenue Generation: Assist the General Manager in revenue generation programs, including sales efforts and marketing initiatives.
  • Employee Development: Assist in the development of managerial and hourly employees through training programs and one-on-one meetings.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Create an environment where employees make empowered decisions to ensure guest satisfaction, and follow up on successes and opportunities.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist the General Manager in creating financial reports as required by the Corporate Office.
  • Hotel Operations: Ensure the efficient operation of the hotel, including maintaining procedures for handling the hotel safe and initiating monthly safe audits.
  • Meetings and Events: Ensure that all scheduled meetings take place on the property.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in a Rooms or F&B department in a hotel, or a 4-year college degree and at least 2-3 years of experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a hotel.
  • Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience, proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, and ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Skills: Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
