Job Overview

The Jewish Community Center Of Dallas seeks a highly skilled and organized Preschool Office Manager to support staff, provide exceptional customer service, and manage office administration. About the Role:

  • Support the department's endeavors by utilizing outstanding written and oral communication.
  • Multitask to organize incoming and outgoing announcements, demonstrating your ability to understand information relationships and their effects on processes and programs.
  • Work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining a reliable and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure complete school records by proficiently utilizing computer programs and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Process billing, payroll, and calculate fees accurately, showcasing your math and intermediate accounting skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in your work schedule to participate in family programs, staff meetings, and agency-wide events.
  • Make sound judgments and decisions, working independently to maintain teacher files, accident logbooks, printers/copiers, and licensing books.
  • Manage the Early Childhood Administrative Assistant.

About You:

  • You have a high school degree or equivalent, with a college or vocational degree preferred.
  • You possess at least 5 years of experience in an office/administrative capacity, with professional experience in a school environment being a plus.
  • You are detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to plan projects, activities, and schedules several months in advance.
  • You excel in interpersonal skills, engaging warmly with children and families, building meaningful relationships, and handling challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • You are flexible and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, requiring independent judgment, initiative, and advanced administrative skills.

What We Offer:

This 40-hour per week, non-exempt, benefit-level position comes with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience.
