Job Summary:

UW Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Inpatient Surgery team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing the Operating Room for surgery, working with world-renowned surgeons, and assisting with complex procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Operating Room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Work with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to anticipate and meet the needs of patients during surgery.
  • Assist with complex surgical procedures, including ophthalmic and ENT surgeries.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification within six months of hire.
  • Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
