As the Safety Operations Supervisor, you will lead the safety team to ensure adherence to all safety protocols and assist in achieving both company and client goals. Your dedication and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional support to the safety team, ensuring all safety compliance measures are upheld at the highest standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate environmental health and safety processes and protocols.
  • Review, implement, and ensure adherence to company policies as well as various state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct audits, both on-site and virtually, to assess facility compliance regarding environmental health and safety/security initiatives.
  • Research, develop, and communicate safety programs and solutions; formulate action plans as needed.
  • Facilitate safety and security meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and familiarity with computerized scanning equipment.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends.
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong time management and project coordination skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in environmental health and safety within a warehousing or distribution context.
  • A solid understanding of industry-specific state and federal regulations.
