Key Responsibilities:

• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead the processing team in managing order schedules, prioritizing urgent shipments, and maintaining punctual delivery standards.
• Establish and uphold rapid turnaround times and short lead times for customer orders.
• Oversee routine maintenance of production equipment, adhering to corporate guidelines while fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with management to cultivate a positive workplace culture, emphasizing continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.
• Provide clear direction to warehouse personnel, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain team cohesion and address any grievances or issues promptly.
• Function in a supervisory capacity, ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred; experience in the metals sector is advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; capable of interpreting safety regulations and operational instructions.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using various units of measure.
  • Familiarity with common software applications such as spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (Word); ability to learn mainframe systems.
