Key Responsibilities:- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability benefits, and retirement plans.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations affecting employee benefits and employment, such as ERISA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and ACA.
- Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of benefit programs and HR policies.
- Act as the primary liaison between benefit providers and employees, handling benefits inquiries and disputes to ensure quick, equitable resolutions.
- Facilitate the benefits enrollment process for new hires and during the annual open enrollment period.
- Develop, update, and maintain written procedures for benefits processes and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with the HR and finance teams to ensure alignment of benefits administration with payroll and accounting systems.
- Educate employees on their benefits and any changes to the programs as needed.
- Stay updated on new laws and regulations that may impact benefits and compliance, and adjust policies and procedures accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR compliance and benefits administration, preferably within the payroll services industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of state and federal regulations affecting employee benefits.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of staff.
- Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding, embrace, and embody DP Core Values.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification highly desired.
- Experience with multi-state payroll and benefits administration.
