Equipment Inventory Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Equipment Inventory Maintenance Specialist to join our team at SUNY Upstate Medical University. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing our RFID/RTLS system, maintaining a database of specialty equipment, and ensuring timely returns of equipment sent out for repair.

Additionally, you will provide clerical support to our department, including customer service, resolving issues, staff meeting minutes, filing, and ordering office supplies. You will also efficiently process invoices for rental equipment to ensure proper billing practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage RFID/RTLS system and tags
  • Maintain database of specialty equipment
  • Process orders and returns of specialty rental equipment
  • Provide clerical support to department
  • Process invoices for rental equipment

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Experience with Excel and Word

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm, with occasional holidays required.
