Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to pediatric and adolescent patients, including nutrition assessments, education, and counseling.
- Develop and implement care plans for high-risk individuals, including those with diabetes and obesity.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of nutrition-related policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- Baccalaureate degree in Dietetics or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Registration or eligibility for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian or New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist.
- 1-2 years of experience working in an ambulatory care setting with pediatric and adolescent patients.
- Master's degree in Dietetics or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with complex medical conditions.
