Clinical Dietitian Nutrition Specialist

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian Nutrition II to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and develop comprehensive nutrition care plans for assigned patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their health outcomes are optimized.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coverage of inpatient units and attend multidisciplinary rounds for designated clinics.
- Calculate patient nutrition requirements using standardized formulas and refer patients to other services as needed.
- Counsel patients and caregivers on special nutrition needs and procedures, and coordinate the provision of outpatient nutrition services as required.
- Develop and revise patient nutrition education materials, and provide written patient education on nutrition-related topics.
- Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in critical care and oncology nutrition.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist, New York State.
- Advanced level certification: Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $73,900.00-$114,400.00.
