MANAGER OF CREDIT RISK REPORTING AND TRANSFORMATION
WHAT IS THE ROLE?
The Manager of Credit Risk Reporting and Transformation is tasked with overseeing the Second Line of Defense Credit Risk Reporting for City National Bank. This position will engage in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and automation of Credit Risk Reporting processes. The individual will take charge of Executive Decks, Regulatory Decks, and Board Presentations prepared for the Chief Credit Officer and Senior Credit Risk Teams. Initial focus will be on the development and refinement of credit-related reporting, including routine reports for senior management, the CNB Board, IHC, and CUSO, alongside regulatory submissions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead strategic initiatives to optimize and modernize Credit Reporting.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments and legal entities to ensure the effective execution of CNB's regulatory and management credit reporting strategies.
- Work closely with colleagues to implement process improvements and minimize manual reporting efforts.
- Oversee regulatory reporting change requests related to CNB Credit Risk reporting for Management, the CNB Board, CUSO, and other regulatory presentations.
- Address and remediate internal audit and Second Line of Defense findings associated with automation initiatives.
- Conduct production reviews and control assessments as necessary.
- Provide project management and execution support for various CNB Credit transformation projects.
- Analyze credit data to deliver trend insights and risk assessments for board and regulatory reports.
- Present findings and risk assessments to management committees and regulatory bodies.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years in credit, risk, and reporting.
- At least 10 years of experience within the banking or financial services sector.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Credit Risk.
- Excellent managerial skills with a proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience in staff management and development.
- Capacity to perform thorough analysis and respond with urgency and purpose to challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and reporting.
- Self-driven with meticulous attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
COMPENSATION:
Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
