About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Inpatient Malignant Hematology department at Emory University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with malignant hematological disorders.
  • Document patient care in medical records, including patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems.
  • Perform physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions under the direction of a physician.
  • Assist in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
  • Order and schedule laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • At least one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty.
  • BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
