Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Malignant Hematology Department at Emory Healthcare. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with malignant hematology conditions
  • Document patient care and medical records accurately and thoroughly
  • Conduct patient interviews and gather medical histories, psychosocial histories, and health status information
  • Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic procedures under the direction of a physician
  • Assist in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
  • Order and schedule laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • At least one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty
  • BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required
