We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Inpatient Malignant Hematology department at Emory University Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with malignant hematology conditions.
- Document patient care in medical records, including patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and specialized treatments under the direction of a physician.
- Assist in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
- Order and schedule laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- At least one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty.
- BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
- A competitive salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
- Incentive plan eligibility.
- Student Loan repayment benefit.
- Paid Parental Leave benefit.
