Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with malignant hematological disorders. Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting patient interviews and documenting patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems
  • Performing physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician
  • Assisting physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
  • Ordering, scheduling, and/or performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty
  • BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required
