Emory Healthcare is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our Malignant Hematology Team at Emory University Hospital. As an integral part of our integrated academic healthcare system, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with malignant hematology conditions.
- Document patient care in medical records, including patient histories, psychosocial histories, and health status.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and specialized treatments under the direction of a physician.
- Assist in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
- Order and schedule laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty.
- BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
