Job Summary

The Acquisition Specialist will provide support to the government with establishing schedules and monitoring progress of procurement actions. This includes researching and analyzing procurement issues, assisting with data collection, and implementing regulatory and policy guidance. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, track, and analyze acquisition requirements
  • Input purchase requisitions
  • Monitor performance and track funds and payment
  • Prepare and review acquisition requirements documentation
  • Attend meetings and take minutes
  • Handle documents and reports
  • Report contract data requirement lists
  • Enter data into systems
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing, understanding, and presenting data
  • 3 years of professional experience in acquisition management support
  • Experience using Excel and other MS Office products
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong computer, finance, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
