About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Halvik. As an Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our US Navy client.

Job Overview

The Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for providing support to the government with establishing schedules and monitoring progress of procurement actions. This includes researching and analyzing procurement issues, assisting with data collection, and implementing regulatory and policy guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, track, and analyze acquisition requirements
  • Input purchase requisitions
  • Monitor performance and track funds and payment
  • Prepare and review acquisition requirements documentation
  • Attend meetings and take minutes
  • Handle documents and reports
  • Report contract data requirement lists
  • Enter data into systems
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing, understanding, and presenting data
  • 3 years of professional experience in acquisition management support
  • Experience using Excel and other MS Office products
