About the Role

Cisco is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Security & Collaboration SFDC team in San Jose, California. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading programs from inception to delivery, partnering with engineering leads to set the framework for successful programs, and ensuring a seamless workflow and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with executives and key company partners to drive critical programs and activities across the company.
  • Take ownership and accountability of technical program planning and delivery for programs on the Salesforce platform using demonstrated strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Develop positive relationships with key technology and functional collaborators to drive focus on strategic program objectives and optimize delivery.
  • Partner with risk management and internal audit teams to deliver tools that meet compliance requirements.
  • Apply agile methodologies and product development lifecycle to successfully partner with product and engineering organizations.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and engineers to architect and develop the best technical and operational design and approach, delivering value quickly to customers.
  • Initiate programs and build alignment on program planning.
  • Bring teams together to define business objectives, program structures, and cross-functional support vital to succeed.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience leading software development/test projects as a Technical Project/Program Manager.
  • 4+ years of experience delivering projects.
  • 3+ years of experience with Jira.
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding record of complex large program management with 50+ team size with a record of success in achieving key business outcomes.
  • Proven use of professional, repeatable methodology for initiation, work breakdown, scheduling, reporting, risk, and change management.
  • Ability to understand a wide array of technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program.
  • Knowledge of the full SDLC, including methodologies, experience in business process analysis.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management-Professional (PMP).
  • Experience with test planning and methodologies.
