Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of foreign, comparative, and international law, including relevant treaties, conventions, and agreements.
- Provide expert research and reference services to support the development of global law and policy, including conducting in-depth research, analyzing complex information, and creating high-quality reports and briefs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting global law and policy, including identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for change.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in global law and policy, including attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, international organizations, and other experts in the field.
- Master's degree in law or a related field, such as international relations or global studies.
- Substantial experience in research and analysis, including experience working with complex information and developing high-quality reports and briefs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a government or international organization setting.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages, including English.
- Experience with research and analysis software, including databases and other tools.
- Strong understanding of global law and policy, including relevant treaties, conventions, and agreements.
