Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Float Pool team at MultiCare Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing, while providing exceptional patient care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, and data analysis
  • Establish and maintain positive identification of specimens, and determine suitability for testing
  • Acquire and prepare reagents as needed, and perform instrument maintenance and calibration
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely test results
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
  • Current Certification of Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or registry eligible
  • Minimum one year of previous laboratory experience preferred
