Job Summary:

The Float Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests, including blood counts, chemistry tests, and microbiology tests. You will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, performing quality control checks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests, including blood counts, chemistry tests, and microbiology tests
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CLIA and HIPAA
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT)
  • Minimum one year of laboratory experience
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
