Key Responsibilities


The Rehabilitation Transformation Specialist is tasked with guiding and mentoring team members in defining, scoping, and validating projects that align with the organization's strategic goals.

Assist process leaders in conducting multidisciplinary project meetings and workshops to accomplish project objectives while promoting Lean Leadership, innovation, efficiency, and change management competencies.

Support departmental leaders in tracking and evaluating outcomes. Establish standards and implement benchmarking and best practice applications to enhance performance at both team and organizational levels.

Conduct training sessions on Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, change management, project management, team building, internal process evaluations, and other performance enhancement topics.

Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through mentorship, coaching, and leadership in change initiatives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities


The following points outline the general nature and level of work performed by individuals in this role. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities associated with this position.


Facilitates teams in executing performance improvement and process redesign workshops utilizing appropriate analytical and facilitation techniques as needed.


Enhances processes by applying performance improvement standards and methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping/re-engineering, and collaborative problem-solving strategies.

Assist in gathering and presenting data analysis findings and developing standard operating procedures within process areas.


Lead the A3/IMPRV process and design for rapid process improvement workshops (RPIWs) and Value Stream support, encompassing business justification, baseline and current state performance, and precise project scope.

Utilize established statistical analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement within processes.


Assist departmental leadership in understanding and evaluating the implementation of our Value Delivery System through analytical data, providing instruction as necessary to foster a culture of High Reliability Organization and continuous improvement.


Assess current organizational and process performance through a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including one-on-one interviews, user workshops, surveys, observational studies, training, and statistical analysis.

Develop process maps for existing and future state processes using suitable techniques and software (Visio).


Facilitate training on Lean tools and management topics, including change management, innovation, team engagement, and mentor leaders undergoing Lean leadership training.
