Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Outcomes Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with nurses and patients to improve quality care outcomes within our healthcare organization. As a key member of the Department of Clinical Excellence, you will play a vital role in facilitating evidence-based practice implementation and positively influencing nursing care delivery.

About the Role

The Clinical Outcomes Specialist will work in a data-driven environment, leading sustainable change to elevate nursing professional practice and ensure seamless, quality patient care across the continuum. You will apply your expertise to transform healthcare delivery, influencing the three spheres of patient/family, staff, and system. This is a part-time position requiring 24 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice initiatives
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to enhance quality care outcomes
  • Lead sustainable change to elevate nursing professional practice
  • Apply expertise to transform healthcare delivery, influencing patient/family, staff, and system spheres

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree required; MSN with Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification preferred, or eligibility to sit for CNS exam
  • 5-7 years of relevant acute care experience
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License required
