Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Management Development Program as a Transformation Enablement Specialist. This is a one-year training program that provides recent college graduates with the opportunity to learn sales, accounting, project management, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in ten weeks of Core Training, which includes classroom training, observations of departmental presentations, interaction with senior management, peer networking, and working in teams on two group project assignments.
  • Develop routine communications on transformation initiatives, including meeting discussions to summarize action items and drive accountability and transparency.
  • Analyze information, determine feasibility of solutions, and make recommendations to support Transformation Delivery Leads/Managers.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree candidate at a school where M&T Bank recruits MDPs (or an MBA student with no work experience).
  • Outstanding academic credentials (GPA of 3.0 or higher).
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Work/internship experience.

We offer a competitive salary of $99 per hour, as well as opportunities for continuous growth and development within the team. You will have the chance to communicate and collaborate across business lines, support functions, and senior leadership, and participate in and complete a one-year long, non-rotational training program while creating and adding value to assigned department.

Our Management Development Program is a non-rotational, one-year training program for recent college graduates where participants learn sales, accounting, project management, and leadership skills depending upon their career track. Various methods of training include classroom study, divisional orientations, and teamwork on group projects. These fundamentals are coupled with on-the-job training to allow for immediate application in the area for which the participant has been hired.
