Patrick Accounting is seeking to enhance our workforce with a new team member. We are excited to announce an opening for a Finance and Taxation Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the monthly financial and taxation operations while delivering exceptional service to a segment of our small business clientele.

Our interactions with clients are frequent, ensuring that our processes maintain a seamless workflow throughout the year. As a key point of contact, you will foster strong relationships with clients, providing them with outstanding service that leads to enduring partnerships.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CPA or EA designation is mandatory.
  • A genuine passion for the success of small businesses is essential.
  • Ability to engage effectively with various small business owners.
  • A positive, confident, and approachable demeanor.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial accounting role is required.
  • Experience in tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120) is necessary.
  • 3+ years of experience in a CPA firm is preferred.
  • QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with technology and a willingness to adopt new tools is essential.

  • Provide insights, real-time planning, and serve as a resource for your assigned clientele.
  • Oversee the monthly financial and tax operations while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Build and nurture valuable relationships with your client segment.
  • Lead, manage, and enhance the professional development of the accounting team by leveraging your unique skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a positive firm culture through every action.
  • Be a proactive self-starter, resourceful in finding solutions, and eager to learn and grow.
  • Communicate directly and thoughtfully with both our team and clients.

Your compensation will be competitive, ranging from $80,000 to $110,000, depending on your experience. We also offer:

Patrick Accounting is a CPA firm dedicated to providing outsourced bookkeeping and accounting services for growth-oriented small business owners and entrepreneurs. We focus exclusively on small businesses, offering a comprehensive suite of services, including monthly bookkeeping, accounting, tax planning and reporting, payroll processing, back-office support, and crucially, advisory services.

This position can be performed in-office, in a hybrid format, or fully remotely. Our operational hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST on business days. We pride ourselves on being tech-savvy and process-oriented, ensuring that our team plays a vital role in our clients' success.
